2008 - 2009 Season Is On!
Practice will be on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the wrestling room of the Jackson High School Multi-Purpose building.

Hygiene
Good hygiene is critical to prevent the spread of skin conditions among wrestlers. Wrestlers should never wear their wrestling shoes outside and they
should make sure to use skin shield before every practice and match at tournaments. Parents please make sure that your wrestlers shower as soon as they
get home from practice. Clothes from practice should be placed in the dirty laundry and not be worn again until washed. Headgear, pads, and shoes should
be allowed to dry thoroughly, and frequently cleaned and disinfected.
This document has good pictures for identifying potential skin conditions. If you have any doubts, ask a coach or see your doctor.
DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD PRACTICE IF YOU BELIEVE THEY MAY HAVE A CONTAGIOUS CONDITION.

Coach Renewals
There is a new requirement this year for all USA Wrestling coaches to undergo a
background check. Your part is completed online as part of obtaining or
renewing your coaching membership.
